How the funds compare
Percentage change in price, with every fund starting at 0% on the first day shown. Tap a fund to hide or show it.
Each fund on its own
Price in euros over the same range, each on its own scale. The big number is the latest closing price.
Returns by period
Change from the closing price at the start of each period to the latest price. Tap a column to sort.
How these numbers are worked out
- Where the prices come from
- Daily closing prices in euros from the "5 year history data" tab of the family fund spreadsheet, read fresh each time this page opens. A script in the spreadsheet adds each weekday's prices after the markets close.
- Change
- The latest price divided by the last closing price on or before the start of the period, minus one. Year to date starts from the last price of the previous year.
- Since start and per year
- Since start compares the latest price with the first price in the history. Per year is the same growth spread evenly over the years, compounded.
- Left out
- Dividends paid out in cash. Fidelity Global Tech is a distributing share class (A-DIST), so its price drops when it pays one, and its returns here are a little lower than what an investor actually received. The other funds reinvest. Days a fund has no price are skipped, and the line joins the prices either side.
